Good little powerbank

Great for camping and a supplement to my gas generator. Wireless charger on top is sometimes difficult to get connected. Charging is fast with the 200W solar. Happy with the unit.

Excellent quality with small design flaws

Primarily, this is used for emergency backup power, camping and charging small batteries. Yes! We recharge our AAA and AA using the sun via the EB55. I understand this uses 'older tech' and some of the newer bigger power stations have been upgraded with better buttons but, this is the EB55's biggest flaw. On our last camping trip the power button was bumped in transit and when we arrived, the EB55 was stone dead. It was a backup for the EB70 that was running my 12V fridge so luckily it turned out to be only a minor inconvenience. The EB70 lasted us the entire weekend! With the 85W solar panel attached to my vehicle it recharged the EB55 no problem throughout the day and we were back in business.
Pros:
Size is convenient for quick grab and go
Will power a 12V fridge all afternoon to keep party drinks fresh!
The light is good for power outages.
Cons:
Hard to tell if the power is on in full sunlight (tiny green lights are barely visible)
Screen hard to read in sunlight (hint: supposed to keep this out of direct sunlight anyway!)
Do you have 60% charge left or 80%? Hard to tell with just 5 power bars. No accurate percentage indicated
Will make you want to buy more Bluetti products! (I now have 4 power stations and one solar panel)

Was supposed to come with a bag but I didn't get it
Other that I love it so far it's so camping used if once power outage used it to power my starlink my 58 inch TV and my ps4

Great little unit

Used for emergency on cpap machine and worked great , still had 20% charge in the morning. Charges up fast and with all the outlets everything can be easily charged. Will use mainly for camping but also at home for extras to supplement the gas gen set in power outages. I paired the EB55 with the PV200 solar panels and they powered up the unit in no time at all. Both units are well made and robust so they should serve me well. While reviewing others the Bluetti came out on top in every way.

Q2: How do I know whether my appliance can work well with the EB55?

A:

Calculate the total wattage of your devices. EB55 should work if the load doesn't exceed its rated 700W.
Q3: How long can it run my device?

A:

Running time = Battery capacity × DoD × η ÷ Device rated power
DoD refers to Depth of Discharge and η is local inverter efficiency.
For EB55, both DoD and η are 90%. If you run a 500W blender with it, the running time will be:
537Wh × 90% × 90% ÷ 500W ≈ 0.8hrs
