I have big expectations for its performance for the workplace, that’s yet to be tried. I’ve only charged it up and used it to power small devices as I get oriented. I didn’t realize i should’ve ordered two sets of solar panels (1 set of 200w) which I will correct when more work funds come available. Excellent customer service so far, zero complaints.

Efficient but AC charging is very noisy

I have used one full battery life cycle to test it out before moving into my van. I was pleasantly surprised by how long I was able to run everything I needed. However, the noisiness of AC charging was unexpected: I anticipate it will be quite overwhelming in a tiny space such as a van, should I need to charge using shore power. As someone who is hypersensitive and very prone to sensory overwhelm, needless to say I am unpleasantly surprised. I really hope DC charging is quieter. Additionally, although this model is technically portable, it is much too big and heavy (and noisy while charging) to stealthily recharge at a café/library/other business.

I use this in my garage. It is plenty powerful for my inverter and mig welder, grinders, drills, compressor, lights, chargers. With the solar panel it keeps it nicely topped up.

Technically, it can power electrical devices under such situations, but please avoid charging it.
Q8: How do I know whether my appliance can work well with the AC200P?

A:

Calculate the total wattage of your devices. AC200P should work if the load doesn't exceed its rated 2,000W.
Q9: How long can it run my device?

A:

Running time = Battery capacity × DoD × η ÷ Device rated power DoD refers to Depth of Discharge and η is local inverter efficiency. For AC200P, both DoD and η are 90%. If you run a 1,000W microwave oven with it, the running time will be: 2,000Wh × 90% × 90% ÷ 1,000W ≈ 1.6hrs

1) The formula is NOT suitable for inductive loads with compressors, like refrigerator, air conditioner, etc.

Q10: Can it be laid on its side to save space?

A:

No. Long-term placement will make the internal structure loose, it is recommended to place the machine upright

No. If the battery pack is faulty or even dead, please contact BLUETTI Customer Service.
Q12: What is the difference between the AC200MAX and AC200P?

The main differences are:
1. Output power and capacity: 2000W AC power and 2048Wh capacity for AC200MAX, while 2000W and 2000Wh for AC200P.
2. Max. Input: 1400W for AC200MAX, while 1200W for AC200P.
3. Output Port: AC200MAX has a 12V/30A NEMA TT-30 port.

Q13: What is the minimum number of solar panels that need to be connected?

Because the AC200P supports the voltage range of 35-150v for solar panel charging, the total open circuit voltage of the solar panel needs to be above 35v. The minimum solar panels you need to buy are: PV120(2PCS), PV200 (2PCS), PV350 (1PCS)
